Why does the phrase 'Quantity Greater Than Max Quantity' occur?

When ordering at a Limit price or Market price, the phrase 'Quantity greater than max quantity' may occur.

This phrase occurs when the maximum amount possible per order is exceeded.

• Limit order : The maximum quantity limit is wider than the market order, so the phrase is less likely to occur.
• Market order : The limit of the maximum quantity is narrower than the limit order, so it occurs when you order a large quantity at once.

The phrase appears in the bottom left corner of your futures trading screen as shown below.
